Memorial weekend flying
I'm in Ohio this weekend, and planning on going to aerotow at Cary's on Saturday. The weather looks great for Sunday as well, so if you guys are interested you're welcome to make a group trip to Dayton, and then we can carpool to Cary's. You can stay at my place and we can fly again on Sunday.

Of course you're welcome to fly locally, just without me :-)

I am taking Board exams on June 5, so I cannot reasonably take too much time off studying this week end. The rig is fixed, the belt is taut and we can even tension it more if need be. Saturday and Sunday in Tipton look good: 4 mph E winds on Saturday 8-10 S winds on Sunday. We could go to Windfall Sunday. What do other pilots want to do?

What's the consensus? Any flying Sunday?

EDIT: Never mind, talked to Kim.

We went to Windfall today, Kim, James and I. It looked to be a great day, but... never really turned on so we each had a sled ride or two. The winch worked well. The line broke once as the tension raised to 230 as James hit a thermal just when Kim accellerated because it had dropped to 40. That was the most roughty part of the day and when James went again thermals were narrow. Then I hit two on two but after I released everything was boringly smooth.
So I guess we decided to go local today (James is going to the race, Kim rarely aerotows and I have to study). Tell us what you find tomorrow.

Mostly this will be of interest to Patrick, but others are welcomed too. I doctored up a photo I took of Patrick as he flew over launch.

Gotta try anything to keep the three musketeers interested and active! Seems that is as many as we can get out to the field at once. :p
