I'm still trying to work things out to be able to go. I'll keep you posted.

Hi guys and thank you for all of you for coming.
Well, it was perhaps a good day for Muscatatuck (yeah!, that's the way it is spelt! and by the way the road is located at 8198 West County Road 500 S, North Vernon, IN), winds were coming from the East, but we love our N-S road near Sheridan so much we went there. (Plus I got up late and Michal had to come back early).
So, we were going to beat this negligible East wind by steering away from the tree and taking off 100 yard West of the road. Well, nature showed us what it is means: the line kept snagging on the corn stalks and James could barely get airborne until we had to call the take-off off. Thanks James for not breaking any bones and any glider pieces.
So, we chose the road, and after barely missing the wind sock and getting the line, predictably snagged on the trees, then unstuck after wiggling it with decreased tension, James go the flight of the day by climbing up to 2500 feet finding a thermal and almost making it cross country.
Since I, and perhaps Michal, did not like the idea of the rope getting caught by the trees, we moved to the Tipton E-W road and on the way saw Kent (that was really nice) who later on joined us.
I went up, did not stick but found some thermals
Third time is a charm so they say: this time the line retaliated against James and decided to break. It broke again 3 times when we tested it.
I went again, did not stick but found a thermal with two turkey vultures in it.

Conclusion: good day, but with East winds, we need to go to Muscatatuck (or the training hill).
